Got to LOVE Family!

Okay now this is my time to spill over! Where do I start? We rent a cute apartment to a family member above our garage. She is in her 50's and acts like she is 20. She lives alone, no husband, her children are grown and have families of their own. She never pays her rent on time or if she does it is never the full amount. She always Bitches about never having any money. The next day she goes shopping for Shoes and clothes. always is ordering clothes on line, Then a few days go by and she cried the no Money song to me. There was a day not that long ago we had to borrow money from my MIL because we were tight our mortgage was a little late so we borrowed like $500.00 to make sure it was covered. ( we tried to pay it back but the In-laws said not to worry about it) I guess she found out about us having to borrow money and she came over and said.

*Tenant said- " It must really suck having to go borrow money to pay for your Bills?" ( as she throws bags of new clothes she bought that day to show me)

*I said- WHAT? you are telling me that it must suck having to borrow money?

I regained my composure and said " well if you paid your rent we wouldn't have to go and borrow Money!" You want to know what sucks? having to chase you for the damn rent! If you paid your rent we wouldn't have to go and borrow money! Then she has the Guts to tell me that I spend way to much money and I need to stop.
*Tenant said- You should do what I do. I look at whatever I think I want to buy and I ask myself, Do I need it or do I want it? if I want it I just walk away and not buy it.

*I said- ya right, I look down at the table and said so, Did you really need more clothes?
she stuffed all the clothes back in the bags and left.
I was so pissed. The next day I came home and ask DH if she paid the rent , DH said you are going to be so pissed.
ME-Why?

DH-She said...

ME- Said what?

DH- She said that you are taking advantage of MOM, saying you always go to her for money.

ME-Push open the door and run to the apartment pound on her door and Let her have it.
I can't even remember what I said to her. I was so pissed at her. All I remember yelling and not letting her have one work in, I got it off my chest told her what I felt about her and how rude it was for her to say I take advantage of my MIL. I held it in and didn't shed a tear until I got back into my own home.
She is such a Bitch to everyone she can never keep any friends, they all find out down the road she is a wench and stay away from her.
She as a different man here over night sometimes 3 nights a week. Ya this is something I really don't want my kids exposed to. My oldest DD has noticed and has mentioned it to me. She always goes away for weekends with different men. ( again there goes my rent Money that weekend!) when she got home she couldn't pay her rent because she went away.
she just bought a new car ( again there goes my rent money ) She couldn't pay it then because she needed a down payment. A month later she needed to register her car. ( I didn't get it then either? well I did just not all of it.) So here we are tonight...
*DH -Do you have the rent? ( it was due today) you see we have to play the chasing game to get it)
*Tenant-Um ahhh, maybe? you see I am going to Florida tomorrow for a week. I am leaving first thing in the Am and I have a check but I think it is going to bounce. I am in the negative in my account.
*DH- um ok? so will you have it when you get back?
*Tenant- ya I should
* Okay
* Tenant- could you have DD come and feed my cat for me while I am gone?
* DH- ya.. or I can
*Tenant- I will leave $10.oo on the counter for DD if she does.
Huh? at least she can pay someone something! Where the HELL is she getting the Money to go to Florida with? DUH! ? That's right OUR FRIGGEN RENT MONEY!
I am Hoping she will come back saying she had so much fun and she is moving there.

I used to get along so well with her. Then when we decided to fix up an apartment we mentioned renting it to her . Family members warned us and said No not to do it. you will never get your Money and she is a Bitch. I was blind I never saw it. She always was nice to me and I didn't think she would take advantage of us. ( WRONG) it went all down hill when she quit her job in hopes of getting a position where I work. When she found out I was in the position she wanted she became nasty towards me. I have heard from others she doesn't talk all the nice about me and it always go back to her wanting my job as a Bookkeeper for a buisness I work for. so all this cattiness from her is nothing but jealousy. I have what she wants. a Husband, financially comfortable, I own a home and a job she wants.
she is divorced twice, rents an apartment. filed bankruptcy, she looks down at me for being what she wants for herself.
So now that all this happened I told DH he needed to be harder on her. Not to be so friggin nice. let her know you are Pissed and we want our Rent money. we have bills to pay too. Why should we have to worry about what bills can be paid while she is going on vacation not having a worry about anything. We are the ones that own this property, we are the ones who have to pay taxes, we are the ones who have to make sure we have enough fuel for heat and hot water. she just assumes this just pays for its self! also she uses our grill ( which I don't mind) but clean the thing when you are done! I don't want to have to open the grill to find her leftover meat stuck to the grill! also Don't invite your friends to hang out on our deck and use the pool and tell my kids not to splash! Hello? I don;t think so! This is OUR pool We bought it. You rent from us and you can use it but don't invite all your snotty ass friends over for a Pool party and get off telling my kids to not bother them? WOW! Her Friends don't come over anymore after that day!
so here I am -$460.00. I hope she buys me something special from Florida!
Oh here is the best part.
She just got a Laptop ( ya my rent money bought that too) and she asked if she could run off of my wireless modem. I said sure we will just add $15.00 toward your rent to cover the cost.( if she was descent to me and paid her rent on time I would of never charged her extra for the wireless. But I felt I needed to. so hehehe when she doesn't pay the rent when I leave or am not using my laptop I turn off the modem so there is no wireless signal. She has called me a few times when I did this.

*Tenant-can you get online?

*Me- Yep, I am on right now ( LOL)

*Tenant- Huh that's strange I was just in and all of a sudden it shut down? I can't connect?

*Me-Hum? Not sure. I know I am on. maybe you need to make sure your wireless button is enabled?

*Tenant- Ya its on.

*Me- not sure. ( thinking to myself there you go Bitch! you can't pay your rent you can't use the Internet am paying for!

I can go on and on with her. From nasty messages she leaves on my cell to being rude to my DD's I have a feeling I will vent alot about her. Wait maybe not! maybe she will stay down in Florida!
DH said if she doesn't pay her rent before she leaves she is going to come back to find we changed the locks! LOL
